'The Arecibo message' is the first human 'hello' message sent to the stars. The message was beamed via radio waves into space at a ceremony to mark the remodeling of the Arecibo radio telescope on 16 November 1974. We are suppose to receive an extraterrestrial response in about 50,000 years (25,000 each way).

On wednesday night, Puerto Rico registered an upset by posting a stunning 1-1 draw against recent CONCACAF Champions Cup winners Alajuelense.

Hillary expressed her gratitude to every one who voted for her including Puerto Rico. I think it's the first time, I've heard 'Puerto Rico' mentioned at prime time on CNN. Does it mean that americans are willing to accept us as equals? Well, what do you think? hmmm...I still don't understand why she wasn't selected as Obama's VP. Superb speech.
