Hi,
I'm a US citizen born and raised in Puerto Rico. I'm not affiliated to any political party and I'm not planning to. I don't know if you are aware that a local referendum about the political status of Puerto Rico will soon be revealed to us voters down here in the archipelago of Puerto Rico.
Before I make my final decision to vote for one of the options (statehood, independence or commonwealth) I would like to ask you one question: If the people of Puerto Rico choose by majority for becoming a state of the United States Of America, will you be in favor of working and voting for the legislation required to become another state of the United Of America? Will you grant us statehood if we vote for it?
Esto está mal escrito:

Debería decir:
If the people of Puerto Rico choose by majority to become a state...
o
If the majority of the voters favor statehood...
I favor statehood and I am a democrat. I think this is an anti-democrat stance since historically, statehood has been a republican stance (well until recently.. you know, before the racists and wackjobs took over that party) So it might pass the house even if the republicans control it... but would it pass the senate? doubt it. You can try passing a law saying free BJs for everybody and somehow it will not pass the senate.
ReplyDeleteEl primero paso es el pueblo boriqua votando por esto rotundamente, como 60-40 , si pasa 51-49 o also haci... no pasara nada
